Make Flowers using Bakers Twine and a Tutorial

Hello!!!

Priya here to show you the ways of creating flowers using Bakers Twine!! Our challenge this month is  to make something using Bakers Twine.

First up is a scallop circle flower.I  ran the twine over all the edges of the scallop circle. This alone can be used as a flower The Center of the flower is made by applying glue got and rolling bakers twine over it. or even the flower centers can be used a separate flower in a different card

Supplies used: Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick,Broken China Spellbinder Label 4 ,Hero Arts  Flourishes BG

Next up is another flower, in  Tag. Take a long twine and cut it to 12 equal parts.Apply glue dot on a paper, Bend the twine in half and stick it at the center,,Do it for first 6 twine. Now place another glue dot and Do the same.. You will get 2 layered flower, Placed a button and candy mini at the center!! Is nt it cute?

Supplies Used: Distress ink Peeled paint,Mustard Seed, Hero Arts Flourish BG(stamped with water)

Next is another flower, I traced with pencil and stuck bakers twine over it.. so simple.

Supplies Used: Distress ink Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Hero arts Flourish Background(Crayon resist)

This one is another flower, take ur scallop circle and punch out the center circle. Now you will be left with a frame.cover it with Bakers twine, going from in to out. stick the ends backside. You could do this with a smaller scallop circle .Since I wanted it for the sentiment, I took a bigger one.
Supplies used:Distress ink Spiced Marmalade, Mustard seed, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Hero arts Flourish Bg(Emboss Resist)

Crocheting Flower taken from http://clearsnap.blogspot.in/2012/05/twine-flowers.html,since I did not know this art. Another way of making Twine flower. :)

Next one is called a pom pom flower, looks gorgeous. But it isnt that difficult to make!Below is the tutorial

Supplies needed - A scissor, Fork and Twine.

Cut a small piece of twine and place it in centre of the fork. With the long twine,Tie a knot
Start rolling the twine around the fork.the more the flower looks dense
One you think u have done sufficiently, tie a know using the small piece, we left in the center.
Now take your scissors and cut 2 sides of the flower and excess thread
You should get something like this

Take your fork and run over the twines.. this will release the strands of thread from twine and spread to make a circle.Place any button or other emb to cover the center.
