Get Inspired from Magazines!

Hello friends..

This is Nupur here & today I am going to show you how you can get inspired by magazines ...

Do you sometimes lack the mojo to create...I sure do sometimes... & that's when we need some inspirations to kick up our creativity...
Inspirations can be found anywhere... you just have to look around you...
Today I will share a few cards I made inspired by the photographs in a magazine...
There are end number of ways to get inspired.. & I will talk about a few of them...

1st one is this picture below...

In this picture I liked the texture, pattern & color so I decided to use all of 3 elements in my card background...
I used  Frayed burlap Distress ink to stamp the Just rite French Rose on a kraft CS.
Next I colored the stamped image with Seedless Preserve, Dried marigold, Peeled paint & Faded Jeans using my Koi Water Brush..
To give the striped texture I scored the whole panel using MS Score Board & then distressed it with Gathered twigs.. I have incorporated the purple mug & green leaves color in form of the glittered border on the sentiment panel & the ribbon.

For my 2nd card I have used this picture...
I liked the black & white with gold accent i this one..so I used it as my color combo...
I also wanted to include the carving on wood & the B&W stripes on the cushion ...

I have kept the background white with some dry embossing... the stripes are made with 0.25" satin ribbon.. I have used gold as an accent on the sentiment panel.. The Just rite stamp was stamped with Versamark ink on Black CS & then dusted with Gold Perfect Pearls powder...

My next card is based on this picture...
I liked the layout & combination of flowers with scripts & the clock...
Just rite French Rose Stamp  set was perfect for this... it has the floral arrangement with the scripts..I used the same color combination of Distress inks to color in the image...
I used a fussy cut embossed clock & distressed it with Distress inks.. Next I used a black marker to color the numbers & border..I used foam tape to give it some dimension..

For my last inspiration project for today I used the color combination in the picture below..
I also tried to control the amount of each color used according to the photograph..
So if you leave the couple in the center then you can see that I have used a lot of white...
The amount of red is a little less than the white & black is only used in the border, sentiment & accent...

There are many more ways that can inspire you to create with amazing results...Just pick up any magazine & you will find a sea of inspirations for your next project..

P.S. : Have you participated in our current challenge?
